A trim back to TBL, and other such ramblings.

Hey all.

Sadly, not long after my last length post in September, I became extremely sick. I'm still not better yet, and it's been going on over two months now.

It was hard, but I made the decision to cut my hair back to TBL- I have had a hard time being able to care for my hair lately, and ultimately decided this would be a good place to hang out while I get my health issues sorted.

The great thing is, though, that my hair is so slippery and soft, and tangle-free after my trim! It has been nice to have manageable hair!

Of course, I'll be growing back out, but am currently enjoying my hair at this length. My plan is to grow back out to knee again! It'll take a while, but I hope you guys continue to follow my hair journey! :)

Hair Tracker Part 26: September 2018

It's September already?! Wow, this year is going by quick!

I've been doing a bit of maintenance on my hair to help the ends stay nice and even (it's a constant battle, haha), since it seems to want to grow into a V-shape hemline. I've been doing a few small trims here and there- up to 1/2 inch a couple of months ago, which is why it doesn't really surprise me that my hair is 50" right now.

 

At this point, I'm really close to knee- within a few inches, at most. Probably 2-3? It's a bit hard to judge exactly.  

Anyway, I'll keep growing- keep following me! Let's see where I go :)

6 Years of Growing- Hair Tracker Part 25: February 2018

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since my last update! Sorry about that.
But, as I've said, my hair is growing, and today, I HAVE PICTURES!

6 years have passed since I decided to start growing my hair long. I started off with a 16", chin-length bob, and now my hair is between classic and knee length.

My hair now is hovering around 48"- four feet! Wowzers!

48"! And today, a special guest appearance by my cat, who refused to move during my picture, so I figured I'd just leave him in. He's cute, anyway!

My hair seems to be getting a bit of a strange hemline- prooobably because I haven't been maintaining it very much! Sometime around May, I'll probably go in and straighten it out...as I've done every year.

Crochet Braid: Year Three

Hey, everyone.

Sorry for the lack of updating lately.
It's been...well, busy in my life. A lot going on.

But my hair's still growing! I'm excited to post a length shot this month for my 6 year grow-versary!

Speaking of anniversaries, this time last year, I showed you guys a year's difference in my crochet braid! Hooray! Well, now it's time for another update. These are extremely fun, but recommended for much longer hair (hip-classic+, though it largely depends on your hair's thickness).

Left to Right- 2/2016 (36.5"), 2/2017 (42"), 2/2018 (~47")

What a difference a few inches can make. I am almost comfortable enough to wear this as a hairstyle. I really look forward to seeing how it looks next year, too!!
